Pioneer Valley Council, BSA Impacto Latino

Here are photos from Springfield's 2007 Puerto Rican Parade. Scouting & Impacto Latino were well-represented with marchers and a camping-themed float. Two Eagle Scouts, Cesar Colon and Nathan Ramos, even had the honor of leading the entire parade and carrying the parade's banner at the very front. The padrino or godfather of the parade was Dr. Jose Irizarry who recently returned from serving in Iraq for 14 months with the US military. He is a school principal in the Springfield School District and an Executive Board member of the Pioneer Valley Council.
